Hum...

Ok, uhhhh I don't know how to say this so bear with me. I know we have pages for big sidequests (Reuniting Anju and Kafei) and important quests (Retrieval of Ilia's Memory), but I'm not sure how...noteworthy this quest really is. I mean, I guess if we're going to do pages about big quests/sidequests, then that's fine, because Reuniting Kafei and Anju and the Retrieval of Ilia's Memory are long and complicated quests. I guess this one is too, so it's all a matter of opinion, but I don't want us to start making pages for every minimal quest (which I believe this one is) because then we'd be making walkthrough-like pages and I don't us to be like that. I don't mean to sound like I'm belittling this page, but I think we should first set up a criteria to see what kind of quests/sidequests would require a page and which ones are best left alone. Maybe? XD What do you guys think? Unless I'm just making a big deal out of nothing. Dany36 16:47, 5 December 2010 (EST)

I agree. None of this is something you'd find in an encyclopedia, this is hardly informative, unless you were looking for a walkthrough. At any rate, I completely agree. ZENOX T C 16:50, 5 December 2010 (EST)
The intention is not to make an article about every single event in the games. This one in particular is in regards of a different-than-usual situation for Link. The rest of the events in the game (and, for that matter, most games in the series) all have in common that they are, to some extent, pausable. This one isn't because, if Link doesn't find the Skull Kid ASAP, he and the rest of Termina will be toast. He either does everything necessary, or won't do anything in the end. In other words, this article was made because it's about an event in the franchise that is unlike most of the others. The conditions under which it happens are uncommon in comparison.
In any case, if you don't find the article to be notable, you're free to either delete it or redirect/merge with some other (like, say, Deku Link, to which this is closely related). Keep the opinions about it coming! --User:K2L/sig 16:57, 5 December 2010 (EST)
That's the kind of criteria we need if these kinds of articles are going to keep getting created. Perhaps a little discussion whether the quest-article is worthy of being created or not might help too. Dany36 21:36, 5 December 2010 (EST)
The page might make emphasis on the unique fact that, as said above, Link cannot save his progress, as well as the fact that the three-day cycle flows faster than the subsequent ones (27 seconds per in-game hour; I learned that thanks to the Time page, though someone would want to confirm that beforehand). Anyway, it's not my nature to act too persistently on a debate. As an alternative, the article might be merged with Deku Link, specifically with the Story section, considering that the references from this page's information might benefit said section.
