:While I do like this idea and agree that we should implement it, the examples you gave I don't really like. I think if we were to mention them, we should mention ones that are partly missable, not just harder after a certain point. Well ... I sort of understand what you're saying and after a bit of thought, I kinda am starting to like this idea. Perhaps we should mention it (wow, that was odd, I totally flipped opinions while typing this : /) {{:User:Zenox/sig|~}} 09:11, 5 September 2010 (EDT)

::Zenox, "harder to get" IS the definition of partly missable. You get a limited number of chances for an easy shot, the rest are harder. I should know because this concept lacked a term and I just came up with it. And yeah, Illari is too. Without the cafe, you basically have to get in the boat behind the island or fly off to one of those rock formations for a shot of him, even then there's a good chance Carlov won't like the shot.{{:User:Matt/sig|~}} 20:09, September 5, 2010 (UTC)

Why has someone deleted all the pages i made on these people--Zanramon 07:48, 9 December 2007 (EST)

Same reason as this. --Adam 08:47, 16 December 2007 (EST)

Splitting the gallery

I've been thinking of splitting this page, keeping the Nintendo Gallery info in this article and making a new page for the figurines. Sort of like the Figurine Shop and Minish Cap Figurine articles. I've done work to get clear, transparent images as well as all the descriptions. I'd say 50% of my job is done (I'll upload the images after 100%), I just need an OK.

Also, a few of the figurines have alternative poses. I have an idea of how to deal with it, but opinions are appreciated. Minion 15:11, 13 June 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Yes, a page with a section for each Hall's figurine and how they can be obtained; something like that?! Jeangabin 15:20, 13 June 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Mhmm. Basically a nice image of every figurine along with a description, possibly using the template available. Some of the special figurines, like Link and the Great Faries, will have descriptions on how to obtain them. It would mostly act as a gallery, though. Minion 15:58, 13 June 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Give it a go! Sounds like a great idea, but while you're working on it, can this page stay the way that it is in order to keep the info on the page for now? I'd hate for information to be taken off because of a project that isn't finished. When you are done, then I feel that the list on this page can be condensed into a hyperlink. 15 figurines

I think we should indicate the 15 figurines that are permanently missable, like with a minus sign. Supermariosuperfan 03:18, 15 July 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Hmm...sure! That sounds like a good idea. I'm surprised that isn't already on the article. :o Dany36 03:30, 15 July 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]

I had a look at the figurines, and I have a theory of which are Permanently missable, though I am still not sure and I may be wrong:

Those are the ones I think are permanently missable, we should not put it in the article until we are absolutely sure which ones are permanently missable. Supermariosuperfan 21:48, 15 July 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]

All of them, save two, are missable. Here's why:
 • The HK is the only boss that can't be fought again. Gohdan can't either, but you can take a picture of his head in the boss room anytime.
 • Tetra and Co. are seen during limited moments. All pirates sans the tsundere leader appear during only one playable scene: The trip towards Forsaken Fortress. The other scenes are cutscenes (you can still take a shot from Niko, but ... he's only one). Tetra herself is available before the departure from Outset Island and when you're taking her to the cellar of Hyrule Castle.
 • Phantom Ganon is gone for good after you hit him with the sacred insecticide known as Light Arrow. Until then, he's roaming in Ganon's Castle numerous times and, before that, in the miniboss battle in Forsaken Fortress.
 • Puppet Ganon is gone for good after you defeat him and save (I never do that).
 • There are only six Big Octos on the Great Sea. Take a photo of at least one of them. I suggest you to find the B.O. Chart to know where they are.
 • Valoo is the oddball here. He can be obtained anytime. Take a photo of his head in floor three of Dragon Rosst Cavern, where the breakable staircase was.
 • Kogoli commits suicide after you play the Earth God's Lyric in front of Medli. No idea why, really. He's the guy standing right from the guards in front of the path leading to Dragon Roost Cavern.
 • The miniboss Wizzrobe is a missable gem. For some reason, he only appears in the Wind Temple.
 • Gohdan is not missable.
Now for the ones you're missing: Knuckle can appear anytime as long as you make use of Tingle's Tuner, but if you obtain all figurines before his, your goal for perfection will be toast. Finally, Zephos and Cyclos. Take a picture of Cyclos while he's trying to send you far away and you'll get a figurine of both. --K2L 03:04, 16 July 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Thank you for your help, K2L, now there is to indicate them in the article, can a minus sign be used? to indicate that it is permanently missable. Supermariosuperfan 03:50, 16 July 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]

I already explained this in the summary of my latest edit, but it happens that, if your gallery remains incomplete, Carlov will never make the Link & King of Red Lions figurine, so you'll lose that one too. --K2L 04:17, 16 July 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Partly Missable

This probably is just nonsense, and it's really late at night for me. But perhaps we should mention ones that are partly missable too? That's just a phrase I made up this second for ones where you do get a limited number of excellent chances to get the shot of it, but if missed, your only way of getting it is considerably harder. Ilari gets excruciatingly harder to take a picture of him as well. Easier when he's in the Windfall cafeteria, harder when he's standing in a balcony of Dragon roost island and you have to photo him from a distant rock elevation. --User:K2L/sig 13:42, 5 September 2010 (EDT)
Zenox, "harder to get" IS the definition of partly missable. You get a limited number of chances for an easy shot, the rest are harder. I should know because this concept lacked a term and I just came up with it. And yeah, Illari is too.
