#. This is a really nice looking picture. Very vibrant and overall very cool. I like the colors too. Plus you can see the actual fly trap guy at the top. Epicly voting for this. A beautiful piece of high-resolution art depicting the teaching of the Serenade of Water in the Ice Cavern, this artwork from Ocarina of Time 3D captures the essence Link and Sheik being engrossed in the music. The crystalline background of the cavern, along with Navi's blue light, complement the artwork and provide a powerful sense of atmosphere. This piece embodies much of the mystique that Ocarina of Time possesses. Current nominations
Scenery from Skyward Sword
Nintendo has described the graphical style of this game as "a painting coming to life", and who could argue? With its great quality and breathtaking view, this image deserves to be featured. Minda of Darkness 23:35, 22 August 2010
- I support it. It'sa really good image to add and I like the art style. - AtrumLevis (My Talk Page) (My Contributions) 14:53, 5 September 2010 (EDT)
- Ooh... pretty. Nice, well-drawn image. I think it seems to do a nice job of representing what we've seen of Skyward Sword thus far. However, the image is somewhat bland, and seems to not have any actual focus. The reason I'm OK with that is because there are no other featured images of just scenery. —Alter {T C B H } 19:21, September 5, 2010 (UTC)
- I like how the picture is high quality. This deserves to be featured! --Zeldarules8 19:56, 28 December 2010 (EST)
- Yes. Yes. Like Alter stated, we don't have a lot of pictures of just scenery. It's very high quality, and reminds us of the joy of Skyward Sword we are to enjoy. This deserves to be featured! PreludeOfHeroes 21:47, 25 January 2011 (EST)
- I have a strong feeling this image is going to end up being "one in a series", given the Cezanne-like landscape artstyle of Skyward Sword. It wouldn't make any sense if this was the only landscape-like piece Nintendo cranks out in the Skyward Sword era because the image work is so brilliant. I'd just rather wait and see than to vote now. — ciprianotalk 19:06, 3 January 2011 (EST)
- This image just makes me think about how much I am going to LOVE Skyward Sword. It's a pleasant reminder each time :D (Unsigned vote - see rule 6 above)
- I am looking forward to september for skywar sword's release and think that this should be featured. (Unsigned vote - see rule 6 above)

I love this image. The colors in this image are very vivid and it has a nice resolution and a good transparency. Despite this boss's flamboyant colors, the official art really plays up the shadows and gives it a more ominous feel. User:Mandi/sig 02:46, September 29, 2010 (UTC)
- Wow, nice. From far away the image doesn't seem that impressive, but when you load full size image you can really appreciate the carefully chosen hues of the flamboyant colors and the details in the shading. The juxtaposition of the bright colors and the foreboding lighting only make it that much more intimidating, from my point of view. —Embyr 75 --Talk-- 12:11, 7 October 2010 (EDT)
- I agree with Embyr. It's a good image, the shading and the overall tone make it a pretty unique image that deserves the nomination. Makes me want to pick up The Wind Waker and fight it at Ganon's Tower, but wait. That's black and white... Gormanbros 20:46, 18 October 2010 (EDT)
- I love the colors on this boss, and totally agree with Embyr and Gormanbros! Linkissohot 16:16, 23 December 2010 (EST)
- I don't know of a more vibrantly-colored boss! The image is of large size, and the transparency is professionaly executed. Let's feature this baby! — ciprianotalk 19:02, 3 January 2011 (EST)
- There's nothing else to say other than to agree and show my support. This is definitely one of the better boss artworks of the series. It would make a great addition to the featured pictures. It's now 5-0, so let's just get some votes in, and, like Cip said, feature this baby! — Hylian King [*] 17:38, 11 January 2011 (EST)
- This picture really shows how the art of wind waker can create some of the best looking bosses in the series.Link hero of the winds 03:43, 20 February 2011 (EST)

- Excellent quality, fitting subject, and very appropriate for featured status. Miles (talk) 16:59, 8 May 2011 (EDT)
This was a very memorable boss for me. I remember the boomerang kept missing its strings completely! This boss had some of the best graphics in the game, in my opinion.PoKaNoZ0 17:46, 29 March 2011 (Personal opinions unrelated to the actual image in question - see rule 7 above)
Mirror of Twilight (Front)
The Mirror of Twilight is a very beautiful work of art that is rarely seen in the series. Vastly unique. But the problem is that arguably the back side of the Mirror is just as beautiful and is even more obscure and rarely appreciated. It's appearance is so intricate and alluring on either side that you can't stop staring at it. (Now we now why Yeta couldn't stop looking at it!) So I'm choosing to nominate them both at once. This one is for the front of the mirror. Scroll down the page for the back! GO VOTE!User:Matt/sig 01:51, March 30, 2011 (UTC)
Mirror of Twilight (Back)
The Mirror of Twilight is a very beautiful work of art yes. Vastly unique. But the back side of the Mirror is just as beautiful and is even more obscure and rarely appreciated. Very few people stop to take a look at the back of the mirror. It is surprisingly intricate and detailed. So I'm choosing to nominate them both at once. This one is for the back of the mirror. Scroll up the page for the front! GO VOTE!User:Matt/sig 01:51, March 30, 2011 (UTC)
- I'd nominate this one because it's just so cool, but my only critique would be that it is a bit blurry at full size. I believe that making this image smaller (maybe around 20% smaller) may fix a large percentage of the blurriness; across the wiki in thumbnail form, this image looks highly awe-inspiring! — ciprianotalk 09:16, 6 May 2011 (EDT)
Link VS. Ganon(dorf)
An accurate and dazzling depiction of what is perhaps one of the most iconic and epic battles in the Legend of Zelda series, this image truly exhibits the extent of Ganon(dorf)'s awe-inspiring, god-given power and might as well as the ferocity of the battle between Good and Evil, Courage and Power. The size of the image is decent great and the quality is excellent. Since we already have a featured picture of the battle between Link and Dark Link, it would seem appropriate to have one of Link and Ganon as well!
By the way, I think this image puts the Link vs. Dark Link artwork to shame! — Hylian King [*] 15:27, 22 April 2011 (EDT)
- I love this piece. It shows the epicness that the entire Ocarina of Time game had, and reminds me of the joy I had while playing it. It's the epic battle that I think symbolizes Zelda. The quality of the image is high and I think it was redone excellently for the OOT3DS remake. LegendOfHyrule31 13:37, 25 April 2011 (EDT)
- I just recently looked at it full-resolution to see what I thought of the details on this image. They're amazing. Ganondorf's eyes... intense!! And the smudged colors of his armor... this image needs to be viewed at full size to be appreciated the way it deserves to be. It's totally romanticized and I love it. Feature! —Embyr 75 --Talk-- 18:28, 25 April 2011 (EDT)
- The quality is low, and it barely shows Link's face. --Masked Kafei 07:23, 3 May 2011 (EDT)
