*According to an interview given by Shigeru Miyamoto to Nintendo Power for their 100th issue, Zora's Lake was planned to be included in Zelda 64. That idea was dropped for Ocarina of Time. Assuming Zora's Lake made it to development stages, it has most likely been converted into either Zora's Domain or Zora's Fountain, since the other two bodies of water, Lake Hylia and Zora's River, have also previously appeared in A Link to the Past.

Template:Place Zora's Lake is a location in A Link to the Past.[1] Located in the northeastern section of Hyrule, it serves as the source of Zora's River as well as all of Hyrule. It is the body of water where the Waterfall of Wishing and Zora's Waterfall are located, and it's home to the River Zoras as well as the Great Zora.[1][2] It contains a Whirlpool Waterway that takes Link south of the Wishing Well in Lake Hylia. Zora's Lake is the Light World version of the Lake of Ill Omen, but has a much larger area that Link can explore.

At the end of the lake is the Great Zora, living near Zora's Waterfall. Here, Link can buy the Zora's Flippers for 500 Rupees.
