A "Lava" Toadpoli

Toadpolis are enemies in Twilight Princess and Link's Crossbow Training that many believed to be Octoroks in the game. They appear very rarely in only a few places. Where they can be found include early on in the Goron Mines lava in a fire variation and behind the Lake Hylia Howling Stone in their more common water variation. They appear as frogs but act very similarly to Octoroks seen in previous 3D Zelda games. Larger versions of these monsters can be seen swimming underwater like fish in the Goron Mines.

They appear in the Rapids Ride level in Link's Crossbow Training.

They also bear an appearance and similar attacks as Zoras in the original The Legend of Zelda, and Link's Awakening. Also they bear a resemblance to the Deku Toad. It is possible that they are its offspring after they go through the tadpole stage.
