Rosa is a orange-cloaked, ribbon-wearing Subrosian first met in The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons. Link first encountered Rosa after finishing the Gnarled Root Dungeon. As he began his search for an item to help him with his quest, he stumbled across Rosa, who was shouting about the Temple of Seasons falling into Subrosia. As she did not want people following her back to Subrosia, Rosa did her best to make sure nobody was following her, unaware of Link trailing her all the way to Subrosia.

Later on, Link meets Rosa again, giving her a new ribbon as she had recently lost hers. Grateful, Rosa decided that she would go out with Link, enabling him to use her key to unlock the locked doors across Subrosia, most importantly to the Tower of Summer.

Following this, anytime Link asked her, Rosa would follow Link around Subrosia. She would not, however, leave Subrosia, leaving Link if he did so.

It is obvious, from the reactions of certain Subrosians, that Rosa is considered very attractive among their race. Many will express shock, or jealousy if Link talks to them while travelling with Rosa. Curiously, she appears to be the only female of their seen race.
