Big Deku Babas (大デクババ, Dai Deku Baba) are enemies from Ocarina of Time and Twilight Princess.

A sub-species of the Deku Baba, the Big Deku Baba is a truly colossal version of the Deku Baba in every way. It is unknown whether the species existed during Link's childhood in Ocarina of Time, but by seven years later they became infamous for terrorizing the Kokiri Forest (one even was situated outside Link's own house). It is possible that the original Big Deku Baba was a mutation of the Deku Baba, caused by the evil radiating from the Forest Temple. Most, if not almost all, Big Deku Babas vanished after Phantom Ganon was defeated.

Big Deku Babas, particularly the species found in the Faron Province, share a symbiotic relationship with Deku Likes, and will grow almost right on top of one.

It is possible that, if the Deku Baba evolved into the Boko Baba, that the Big Deku Baba evolved into the Kalle Demos.
