Template:Boss The Medusa Head (メデロック, Mederokku) is the boss from the eight dungeon in Oracle of Seasons, the Sword & Shield Maze. As the name says it is a Medusa head; it will stand in the center of the room and throw some spheres that can stun you, then she will perform an eye laser attack.
To defeat it requires one of two strategies. Either:
- Jump using the Roc's Cape and avoid the stun spheres, then evade its attack. Only then can you strike it with your sword to finish it, or
- Use the Hyper Slingshot and Pegasus Seeds to stun it, then attack.
Appearances in other games
- Statues of the Medusa head, or a creature very similar, appear in the completed Black Tower repeatedly on the higher levels on Oracle of Ages.
