Gyorg (グヨーグ, Guyōgu) is a shark-like creature that appears in the waters of several The Legend of Zelda games.

Majora's Mask

Gargantuan Masked Fish: Gyorg (巨大仮面魚グヨーグ, Giant Masked Fish: Guyōgu) first appeared in Majora's Mask as the boss of the Great Bay Temple. To defeat him, you must use either the arrows or arm-fins to stun him, then dive in the water and hit him with the electrical swimming attack. His attacks are to ram into the platform to attempt to knock you into the water, and to leap over the platform to hit you. About halfway through the battle, he summons dangerous Garahnas to harm you. After defeating him you receive Gyorg's Remains.

The Wind Waker

In The Wind Waker, Gyorg was the name of an enemy that lived in the Great Sea, similar in appearance to a shark but smaller, and capable of knocking Link out of his boat, the King of Red Lions, with a headbutt confrontation. It could also attack Link by biting him should it encounter him in the water. When Link is sailing along any Gyorgs that encounter him will attempting to knock him out by ramming him head on. If they miss they simply turn round, quickly outstrip the King of Red Lions before turning round and attempting another head-on ram. If they encounter Link stopped in the water they will circle him, in or out of the boat, often in groups, before one of them ventures in to ram the boat or bite Link. Note that they usually attacked in groups of 3, but still attack in groups of 2, or alone. They can be killed with two hits of the boomerang, arrows, or with one shot of the cannon.

Phantom Hourglass

Gyorgs appear almost the same as they do in Wind Waker only larger. Instead of circling Link, they will wait for his ship to start sailing then ride along with it. If your ship is stopped, they will partially submerge where you can only see its fin, and it will swim back and forth some distance ahead of you until you start sailing again. If you hit them with your cannon they will submerge and reemerge somewhere else. However, they can be killed with the cannon if you hit them when they jump out of the water.
