The Keh Namut Shrine,[1] designated by the Trial name Cryonis Trial,[1] is an Ancient Shrine in Breath of the Wild.
Entrance to the Shrine
The Shrine is located on Mount Hylia atop the Great Plateau. It's one of the four Ancient Shrines that Link must complete on the Great Plateau for the Main Quest "The Isolated Plateau". The surrounding area is a frozen climate, so Link will need either a Warm Doublet or spicy Food to reach it. When he enters the shrine, he's greeted by its Monk, Keh Namut.[2]
The Keh Namut Shrine is a mini-dungeon where Link ventures to utilize the Cryonis Rune for the Sheikah Slate. At the end of the Shrine, Keh Namut will be waiting for the Hero to complete his trial and presents Link with a Spirit Orb.[3] He wishes Link well before fading away.[4]
On a ledge near the end of the Shrine rests a Treasure Chest that contains a Traveler's Spear.
