Template:Animal Gengle is Jovani's cat, who was also cursed when Jovani sold his soul to the Poes for riches.
Biography
When his owner was cursed, Gengle became a solid gold crown on top of Jovani's head.[1] If Link gets 20 pieces of Jovani's soul back, Gengle will return to normal. However, Jovani will remain solid gold until Link gets the rest of the Poe Souls.[2]
Gengle is revealed to be the leader of the cats in the town.[3] The cats gathering outside Jovani's house say that they are waiting for Mr. Gengle to come out and play.[4][5]
After Link finds all 60 Poe souls and Jovani recovers, Gengle will give him 200 Rupees from Jovani's Rupee hoard each time he enters the house.
