Akira Himekawa is the collaboration of two women, A. Honda and S. Nagano. Together they have created many manga adventures featuring Link and the popular video game world of The Legend of Zelda.[1]

Akira Himekawa’s The Legend of Zelda manga series started with Ocarina of Time being released in Japan in 1999 and their most recent work is the manga adaption of Phantom Hourglass published in 2009. Viz Media is currently in the process of publishing the series in English starting with Ocarina of Time in October 2008.
