== '''Brief Guide to Article Content and Formatting''' ==
All hail the mighty sandbox!{{:User:Neo/sig}} 03:05, 1 January 2010 (UTC)
Although [[Zelda Wiki.org]] has the enviable stub ratio of 0.1339, many of the stub articles are frequently vistited and noticed. This project hub will strive to bring stubs to decent article standards. See [[Help:Contents|Help Guides]] for more in-depth information.

Tips on expanding an article beyond Stub-status.
I'll just dump the enemy sorting here. :p just some ideas, will need major tweakings
'''Introduction''' Introduce the article as well as possible. Make the reader want to read the rest. To do this, don't repeat what the article says, simply touch those points and offer an insight.

'''Images''' Find Images by searching related articles, [[Special:UnusedFiles|Unused Images]], or other websites (particularly our affiliated sites).
==Types==
* Additional images can be added to an article's image gallery.
<s>Slime, Plant Enemies,</s> Soldier Enemies, Indestructible Enemies, Octo, Aerial, Aquatic, Magic Casting

'''Links''' Add pipelinks to increase the navigatibility of the page. Avoid linking to disambiguation pages. Click on the links and ensure they have the proper identifiers and do not end at a disambiguation page.

'''Templates''' Consider adding a template or even a few. such as an infobox, a related subject navigation template, etc
* Infoboxes ZW has many [[:Category:Infobox Templates|infoboxes]] and probably needs many more.
** Ensure the fields of the template are up to date, more fields are added often and few older insertions are updated
** Add or suggest any new fields you believe are warranted
* Navigation Templates ZW has largely overlooked the use of Nav Templates thus far, many new nav templates are likely warranted to keep consistency in Cross-References.
** If you are unsure of how to create these, you may request new ones in the [[Zelda Wiki.org talk:Castle Town]]

'''Tables''' Tabilizing some awkwardly placed information is another option. Advanced tables can also be done (such as sortable tables, and irregularly celled tables)
* Examples of Tables in articles: (Largest to smallest)
** Normal Tables: [[Wheaton & Pita]], [[Ship Parts]]
** Irregularly Celled Tables: [[Goron Dance]]
** Sortable Tables: [[Magic Rings]], [[Characters in Super Smash Bros. (Series)]], [[Goron Shop]]

'''Overhaul''' Reformat the article if necessary, sometimes bold changes are needed. In this case you may be better off working in the [[Sandbox]] and getting some opinions before replacing the article.

'''References''' Revisit the source(s) of the article and find more things to write with the goal of expanding the article in mind.
* Take notes and use specific quotes for references from the game, instruction manual, official guides, official site, or even developer quotes.
* See [[Help:References]] for help with including references or even ask any of the in-house [[Template:User Citationist|Citationists]].
* Use <nowiki>{{fact}}</nowiki> to mark statements needing a source. A future ZW project will be to get references on every page doing so will help this.

'''See Also Sections''' Many articles needing cross references have none.

'''Categorization''' Review the article's categories and determine if these are adequate, add more relevant categories if possible.

'''Delete?'''
If a topic is Zelda specific, regardless of its importance, a deletion is unlikely. One other option is to merge pages of little importance into similar or related pages. The [[Zelda Definitions]] page could serve as a common ground for pages that have few options for a merge.

== '''This Month's 10 Candidates to Improve''' ==
<dl>
<DT>[[Helmethead]]
<DD>Possible additions, How does he attack? How can Link defend from his attacks? How does Helmethead defend? Elaborate more on the dungeon he's in, where it is, etc.
<DT>[[Picori Blade]]
<DD>References, What needs to be done to reforge it, elaborate. [http://www.gamefaqs.com/portable/gbadvance/file/920670/39934 GameFAQ text dump] has a lot of info that could be used on the page, as well as references.
<DT>[[Temple of Fire]]
<DD>What can be expected inside? Dungeon theme? References. How many floors? More is said of the Isle of Embers here than the actual dungeon.
<DT>[[Shovel]]
<DD>Each game's section could use a bit more information on using the shovel. What areas of Hyrule (or wherever) are the digging games in? What enemies are found by digging?
<DT>[[Time Portals]]
<DD>Certainly more could be said of that. Some locations, how time portals are used as a maze, What happens while using a time portal, the relevant songs. etc
<DT>[[Telescope]]
<DD>Quotes, Old Man Ho Ho's telescope use prompts, The use to get a heart piece on Windfall Isle by stargazing, Quotes from that. :P
<DT>[[St. GIGA]]
<DD>Is this even named correctly? Only one lower case letter, Categorization needed. Whatever else could be added.
<DT>[[South Shore]]
<DD>This is basically filler info, a bit more could be said, a reference or so thrown in.
<DT>[[Crenel Hermit]]
[[Minish Woods]]
moreorless done, needs more cleaning up than anything else, could use a few references
<DD>This is almost as far as that article can go, an image of him and any quotes would pretty much fill it.

Okay, I've worked on the Inn, its not big enough to take out of the stub section, but its decent now, I'll work on it tommorow, i need to find out about the upper floor, i remember there was this treasure chest outside that you couldn't get to unless you lit the lamp inside, but i cant remember what was inside the chest, and also there was that other room with the gut sitting in [[User:Calibure|Calibure]] 14:29, 15 November 2009 (UTC)
:I took Happy Hearth Inn down, updated the ZW stub ratio, and added references to the page. I'll find something else asap. :P {{:User:Axiomist/sig}} 05:29, 20 November 2009 (UTC)

Awesome, I've been thinking, maybe St.GIGA should be removed, and also that I have worked on the [[Game boy]] page, giving it titles and paragraphs to make it look decent, could somone check it to see if its worthy of been taken out of the stub section? it has enough info in my oppinion [[User:Calibure|Calibure]] 09:53, 21 November 2009 (UTC)

I merged [[Flying Carpet]] and [[Carpet Merchant]]. That's about all that can be said about this guy, though. He is literally just a random NPC. [[User:Ganondorfdude11|Ganondorfdude11]] 06:38, 23 November 2009 (UTC)

:You're right, I pulled it down. I'm looking for 2 more stubs now, but I think the Picori Blade has the most potential on what's up here now.
