Hailey is a character in The Minish Cap.[1]

Biography

Hailey is a member of the Wind Tribe. She appears alongside her sister Gale during the Picori Festival. Later, they try to return to their Home in the Cloud Tops, though they find themselves trapped.[2] After Link locates five gold Kinstone Pieces scattered across the Cloud Tops and Fuses them with five corresponding Mysterious Clouds, a Tornado appears, allowing Hailey and Gale to return to the Home of the Wind Tribe. From this point on, Hailey can be found on the uppermost floor of the Home of the Wind Tribe, where she blocks the staircase to the roof until Link receives permission to access it from Siroc.

Link can Fuse Kinstone Pieces with Hailey,[3] resulting in a Golden Tektite appearing at Veil Falls.

Nomenclature

Like other members of the Wind Tribe, Hailey is named after a type of weather. Specifically, her name derives from Hail. The name Hailey is also a variation of Hayley.[4]
