| '''Comic/manga adaptation:''' While I admit that a good deal of my love of it probably comes from me growing up with it and its fanbase, my favorite comic or manga adaptation of any of the games in ''The Legend of Zelda'' has to be the '''''Four Swords'' manga''' by Akira Himekawa. While short and somewhat loose, it has a much better story than the final version of the story in ''Four Swords Adventures,'' lovable characters, and great character development, especially among the Links and Shadow Link. It also has what I'd consider to be one of the best subfandoms period.
