Cora Lake is a location in Breath of the Wild.[1]
Features and Overview
Cora Lake is located south of the Lake Tower in the Faron Sea. It is surrounded by cliffs on all sides, leaving lower than the Faron Grasslands nearby. The Lake is the source of the Menoat River, which feeds into the Faron Sea.
During the "EX Treasure: Garb of Winds" Side Quest, which is exclusive to The Champions' Ballad DLC Pack, Link is tasked with finding the Hero of Winds' garb, which was stolen from Hyrule Castle.[2] After reading Misko's EX Journal 2, he learns that it is located "where the Menoat River is born."[3] In the cave opening on the west side of Cora Lake, Link can find an EX Treasure Chest containing the Island Lobster Shirt, which can be pulled from the Water using the Magnesis Rune.[4]
Two Koroks can be found at Cora Lake. The first can be found by completing the Cube Pattern on its eastern cliff. The metal cube required to solve this Pattern is beneath the Water, near the rock outcroppings. The second Korok can be found under a Rock, which serves as a Natural Hiding Spot overlooking the Lake's western edge. After these Koroks are located, they will give Link a Korok Seed.[5]
