The Guard House,[1] also known as the Messy Guard Station,[2] is a location in Ocarina of Time.
Features and Overview
The Guard House is relatively small, and is located just beside the entrance to Hyrule Castle Town. It is open 24 hours a day and its only inhabitant is a bored Soldier who actually encourages Link to destroy the Pots within as he is sick of all the peace in the world.[3] The Guard House is filled with 44 Rupee-laden Pots, five Crates, and one Gold Skulltula.
At night, the guard will talk about his passion for ghosts and that studying them is a hobby of his.[4]
When Link returns seven years later, the Guard House has been turned into the Ghost Shop, run by the Poe Collector.
