Flameblades are magical Swords that were forged in the lava of Death Mountain.[1] When they are glowing red, they will emit Fire when swung.[1] Equipping one will provide Link with one level of Cold Resistance. They're often used by enemies in Hyrule Field and East Necluda.
Though their strength comes from their fire damage, Flameblades are still made of metal. Therefore, they can attract Lightning during thunderstorms, but they can also be picked up using the Magnesis Rune on the Sheikah Slate.
