This young woman is the [[Sage|Sage of Earth]] in ''[[The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker|The Wind Waker]]''. She's a [[Zora]] and the only one of her race that appears in ''The Wind Waker''. Her function as a sage was to remain in the [[Earth Temple]] and pray for the power to repel evil to remain inside the [[Master Sword]]. When she was killed by [[Jalhalla]], some of the power in the sword diminished.

Laruto

Laruto is the former Sage of Earth in The Wind Waker. She's a Zora and the only one of her race that appears in The Wind Waker. She was born in Zora's Domain, before Hyrule got flooded and was killed by Ganon's minion Jalhalla when the former broke the seal of the sages.[1] After her death, her spirit remained in the Earth Temple until she was replaced by her descendant Medli.
