Template:Sources Template:Item Zelda's Letter is a letter given to Link by Princess Zelda in Ocarina of Time and Spirit Tracks.

Appearances

Ocarina of Time

In Ocarina of Time, Link gets the letter from the princess herself in the Castle Courtyard.[1] Zelda's Letter is required to make the Death Mountain Trail Gatekeeper in Kakariko Village open the gate that leads to the Death Mountain Trail. After Link gives the Letter to the Gatekeeper, he will open the gate, which will remain open for the rest of the game.[2]

Spirit Tracks

In Spirit Tracks, Princess Zelda gives the letter to Link inside Hyrule Castle along with the Royal Engineer's Certificate. The letter includes a map of the castle with a path leading to Zelda's room.

Trivia

  • The Hylian text on the back of Zelda's Letter in Ocarina of Time reads "Zelda."
