For this dungeon in BS The Legend of Zelda, see Level 7 (BS The Legend of Zelda).

Template:Dungeon Demon is the seventh labyrinth in The Legend of Zelda.

Entrance

The entrance to the dungeon in the First Quest

In the First Quest, the dungeon's entrance is located in a fountain where a fairy should be,[1] but it can only be revealed with the melody of the Recorder.

In the Second Quest, the dungeon's entrance is located in a southeastern forest, one square west of where the Lion dungeon appears in the First Quest.

Themes and Navigation

First Quest

Being green-colored, the dungeon is considered to be much easier than the sixth labyrinth, mainly because there are no Wizzrobes; in fact, the majority of the enemies are actually Goriyas, and even one of them will hinder Link's progress if he does not give him food. This dungeon is the very first where a room may not be displeyed in the screen map (but it will be in the map subscreen after it is discovered). The only way to discover this oddity is by bombing the east wall of the room west from the apparently non-existent space.[2] Hidden within the dungeon is an Old Man who will increase Link's bomb capacity for only 100 Rupees. The main item is the Red Candle, which allows Link to leave two torches at one time; also, the boss is Aquamentus, which served as the very first boss of the game, and marks the first time a dungeon no longer houses a new boss.

Second Quest

In the Second Quest, the dungeon is almost completely different to its First Quest equivalent. The bricks are white, the First Quest's Lion and Death Mountain dungeons. The dungeon is spiral-shaped, somewhat similar to a mirrored at sign (@).

The main item of the dungeon is the Red Candle. The boss is a four-headed Gleeok.

Darknuts are very common in this dungeon. There are also two thieving Old Men[3] in this dungeon, so it is recommended to have at least 100 Rupees before entering the dungeon.
