In The Wind Waker, Mila is a rich girl from Windfall Island who was kidnapped and taken to the Forsaken Fortress. After Link rescues her, the pirates made her father pay a lot of money and they became poor. Mila was saddened so much that she started to work at Zunari's shop. However, she snuck out at night and was caught by Link stealing something out of Zunari's safe.
