The '''Kokiri Forest''' is a village from ''[[The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time]]''.
The '''Kokiri Forest''' is a village from ''[[The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time]]''.  


The Kokiri Forest is the secret home of the [[Kokiri]] tribe.  The village and forest region comprises of the central part of the [[Lost Woods]], and is close to both [[Hyrule Field]] and the [[Sacred Forest Meadow]]. It is said that only a [[Kokiri]] can find it, and that no [[Kokiri]] can ever leave it, or they will die.  The Kokiri Forest is actually home to the [[Great Deku Tree]]'s Meadow, and is a safe haven, compared to the rest of the Lost Woods.  The entrance into the Lost Woods is found on a cliff overlooking the Kokiri Forest village.  The Forest itself is a pleasent village, filled with tree-houses, and houses built from trees. There is a training course in the Forest, where it is said the [[Kokiri Sword]] lies hidden.  There is also a shop which sells [[Deku Shield]]s amongst other things.
