Template:Sources Template:Item Zelda's Letter is a letter given to Link by Princess Zelda in Ocarina of Time and Spirit Tracks.

Ocarina of Time

In Ocarina of Time, Link gets the letter from the princess herself in Hyrule Castle's Courtyard. Zelda's Letter is required to get past the guard in Kakariko Village at the gate that leads to Death Mountain Trail. After that the guard has been given the letter, he will open the gate, which will remain open for the rest of the game.

Spirit Tracks

In Spirit Tracks, Princess Zelda gives the letter to Link inside Hyrule Castle along with the Royal Engineer Certificate. The letter includes a map of the castle with a path leading to Zelda's room.
