Snowpeak Top is a location in Twilight Princess.

Features and Overview

As its name implies, Snowpeak Top is the highest point of Snowpeak that Link can reach in the Peak Province. It can be accessed by going through a small cavern in the upper section of the mountain, past the icy lake.

Once Link reaches Snowpeak Top after having followed the Reekfish Scent, a Twilight Portal will open up and Shadow Beasts, along with Ice Keese, will promptly attack him. Defeating these creatures will allow the young hero to see a lone tree atop the hill, along with a beast holding a large Reekfish. When the young hero speaks to him, the Yeti will introduce himself as Yeto. Link tells him of his quest to find a Mirror Shard from the Mirror of Twilight, to which Yeto mentions that he had found a mirror piece earlier on. The Yeti invites the young hero to his mansion to see if the mirror piece is the one he is looking for.[1] However, since his home is located at the bottom of the mountain, Yeto tells Link to follow him by using a frozen leaf from the nearby tree and thus snowboard down the mountain.[2]

Once Link defeats Blizzeta and retrieves the Mirror Shard from the Snowpeak Ruins, Yeto and Yeta will be on the summit of the mountain to race the young hero, rewarding him with a Piece of Heart if he bests both Yeti.[3]
