Flying Pots are recurring enemies in Template:LZS.
Characteristics
Flying Pots appear to be simple, harmless pots from a distance, but when approached, they will rise into the air and hurl themselves at Link. Like other pots, they may sometimes contain small items inside, usually a Heart.
Striking the pots with the Sword or blocking with the Shield are effective tactics to avoid damage. Link can also sometimes break them and collect their contents from a safe distance with the Hookshot or Boomerang.
In Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask, Flying Pots can be distinguished by their size; they are smaller than regular pots.
