The Coral Earring is a mysterious piece of jewelry that was given to Prince Ralis by his mother in Twilight Princess. When Link shows Ashei's sketch of the beast from Snowpeak to Prince Ralis in the Karariko graveyard, Ralis instantly recognizes the red fish that the beast is holding to be a Reekfish. Ralis tells Link that Reekfish feed on a certain type of coral found only in Zora's Domain, from which his earring happens to be made. He gives the hook-shaped earring to Link, which replaces the standard hook on Link's Fishing Rod and can be used to catch a Reekfish.
