Ruto was a town in a mountainous region of northwestern Hyrule in Zelda II: The Adventure of Link. It was named after Princess Ruto, one of the Seven Sages.

Link visited the town and helped a woman save her stolen Trophy. The woman awarded Link by letting him meet her uncle, an old man who taught Link the Jump Spell. He also met Error, who told him about a hidden tunnel near Mido Town.
