Tailpasarans are parasitic tapeworms appearing in Ocarina of Time. They are found exclusively Inside Jabu-Jabu's Belly, and like many other monsters in that dungeon, their slender bodies are flowing with electricity, so direct sword attacks are more likely to hurt Link than the creature itself. To destroy a Tailpasaran, Link should wait and throw the boomerang while Z-Targeting when one emerges from the ground. However, if Link is not equipped with a boomerang, he should quickly run from it before it emerges or damage it using a stick. These centipede-like creatures are known to be quite suicidal when in danger, attempting to shock the enemy to death, which results in the Tailpasaran itself being destroyed.

Trivia

  • Its name is a reference to Moldorm's Japanese name, Tail (Template:Japanese).
  • In terms of appearance and attack method, Tailparasans are very similar to Moldola.
