Line 1: Line 1:
The "Triumph Forks", which are often talked about by the Fishmen in The Wind Waker, are none other than the pieces of the Triforce of Courage. In the time of The Wind Waker, the word 'Triforce' had been all but forgotten, mostly due to the Great Flood which created the Great Sea of Hyrule. Over time, changes in the Hylian tounge led to the mistranslation of the word "Triforce" into "Triumph Forks".
#REDIRECT Triforce#The Wind Waker

This has been proved by the fact that the Talking Fish in TWW mentions Triumph Forks on different Islands, which later turn out to be locations of the Pieces of the Triforce of Courage. The Japanese name for this is Tarai to Hosu, whilst Triforce is Toraifosu. The Triumph Forks are mentioned again in The Minish Cap, appearing as titles of books in the Library (The titles appear as Modern Hylian. Translated it said Ta Ra I To Ho Su.) This indicates that TMC takes place after OOT.
