Chief is a character in Phantom Hourglass. He is an Anouki who lives on the Isle of Frost. He promises Link that he will let him into the Temple of Ice if he can find the Yook in the village who has disguised himself as an Anouki, causing an uproar in the village. Chief gives Link a hint to find the Anouki: Yooks always lie. The Yook happened to be Aroo.
