The Minish Village is located in the Minish Woods, and is the capitol of the Minish world. Hyrule's original population of Minish founded this village, of which continues to thrive today, although many Minish since then have expanded to lifestyles outside of the Minish Woods since then. All Minish, since their expansion, categorize themselves based on location: those still living within the confines of the Minish Village call themselves Forest Minish, as do the many living in the outskirts and about the Minish Woods. The Forest Minish are supervised by thir elder, Gentari. The architeture of Minish Village ranges from hollowed out barrels, habitable baby shoes, and mushrooms - anything in the area sized enough to support the sedentary, minimalist Minish lifestyle.
The Minish Village is a village of Forest Minish who live in the Minish Woods. It is the place where all Minish first lived until some Picori left to explore Hyrule (renamed Town Picori), and some others left to explore Mount Crenel (renaming themselves Mountain Picori). They are led by the elder of their village, Gentari. Here, the Minish make their houses out of several objects lost in the forest, such as a jar, a barrel, and a shoe. Others, such as the elder, live in hollowed-out mushrooms.

When Link first arrived at the village, the Minish were very surprised to see him, as he was the first human to visit the village in quite some time. Neither he nor Ezlo could understand the Minish language, however. Fortunately, a Minish by the name of Festari happened to be fluent in the language of the humans, and revealed that an item called the Jabber Nut would be necessary to communicate with the other Minish.
Link's Reception in the Village
When Link first arrived in the village, the Forest Minish were surprised to see him, as it had been ages since the last human visit to the village. Despite the relative shock shared by most Forest Minish at Link's presence, an elite Minish named Festari enthusiastically greeted him at his villa, revealing himself as an admirer and human enthusiast.

To the north of the village lies Deepwood Shrine, the game's first dungeon. In order to access the dungeon, Link must first speak with the village elder, who will grant him passage through Festari's abbey and into the dungeon.
Language
The Forest Minish that inhabit the village incorporate their own language into their societal culture. Link and Ezlo are unable to understand the language, and therefore seek out the Jabber Nut, hinted at by Festari himself, in the town so they may be able to achieve an accurate translation of the Minish language.

To the west of Minish Village lies the outskirts of Minish Woods, and Belari who will sell Link some bombs.
Dungeon
North of the village lies the Deepwood Shrine, the game's first dungeon and the location of the Earth Element. To access the dungeon, Link must get the approval of Gestari and Festari; the latter guards the passage to the shrine itself.

Trivia
* In the small lake adjacent to Festari's villa, a Piece of Heart can be obtained, after getting the Flippers from the Temple of Droplets in Lake Hylia.
* To the west of the Minish Village, a Forest Minish named Belari lives inside a small mushroom - he will give Link his first bombs, and will later, after a certain Kinstone Fusion with Gentari, upgrade the bombs to remote bombs.

The Forest Minish that inhabit the village incorporate their own language into their societal culture. Link and Ezlo are unable to understand the language, and therefore seek out the Jabber Nut, hinted at by Festari himself, in the town so they may be able to achieve an accurate translation of the Minish language.

Dungeon

North of the village lies the Deepwood Shrine, the game's first dungeon and the location of the Earth Element. To access the dungeon, Link must get the approval of Gestari and Festari; the latter guards the passage to the shrine itself.
