These giant caterpillars are a bright blue in color, and appear in The Minish Cap. Their lairs are usually covered in spiderwebs which can be removed with the Flame Lantern or the Gust Jar. You can defeat them by hitting their nose, and then their tail in succession. They resemble the Mario enemy "wiggler" but with a different color scheme. Whenever you fight them, you will be trapped in a dungeon and the door will only open when the Maddipillar has been defeated. You only have a few seconds to strike the tail of the Madderpillar (when you've hit him on the nose,) before he turns red and starts running around. He will casually turn blue again, but will be aiming to strike you with more accuracy after you've hurt him.
