The Reception Room is a recurring location in The Legend of Zelda series.[1] The Reception Room goes unnamed in Tears of the Kingdom.

Features and Overview

Breath of the Wild

The Reception Room is an interior room of Hyrule Castle. Each wall of the Reception Room has a doorway, making it a hub for Link as he explores.[1] The northern doorway leads deeper into the Castle, though it is covered by rubble. The eastern door leads into the Hyrule Castle Corridors, towards the Dining Hall and Square Spiral Staircase. The western doorway also leads into the Hyrule Castle Corridors, though it is blocked by Malice.

The southern exit of the Reception Room leads into the Observation Room. To access the Observation Room, Link must destroy the Glowing Eyeball in the Reception Room. This will clear away the Malice covering the doorway.
