Description |
Common Locations Tabantha Frontier | |
Properties |
Knight's Broadswords are Weapons that Link can use to defeat Enemies, destroy Barrels and Jars, and cut down Trees. Knight's Broadswords will deal 26 damage to Enemies, and 52 damage when thrown and broken on an Enemy. They were once used by the Knights of Hyrule before the second Great Calamity.[1] In the present, they are commonly used by adventurers due to their ease of use and high attack power.[1]
Scanning the following amiibo with the amiibo Rune has a chance to spawn a Treasure Chest containing a Knight's Broadsword:
- Super Smash Bros. Series Link amiibo
- Super Smash Bros. Series Young Link amiibo
- Super Smash Bros. Series Toon Link amiibo
- The Legend of Zelda Series Link (The Legend of Zelda) amiibo
- The Legend of Zelda Series Link (Link's Awakening) amiibo
- The Legend of Zelda Series Young Link (Majora's Mask) amiibo
- The Legend of Zelda Series Toon Link (The Wind Waker) amiibo
- The Legend of Zelda Series Link (Twilight Princess) amiibo
- The Legend of Zelda Series Link (Skyward Sword) amiibo
- Breath of the Wild Series Link (Rider) amiibo
Knight's Broadswords will sink if they are dropped in Water. Being magnetic, however, Link can use his Magnesis Rune on them. However, this also means that they will attract Lightning if they are equipped during a Thunderstorm, and they will conduct Electricity. They will not burn if they are exposed to Fire or a Scorching Climate.
Knight's Broadswords belong to the equipment archetype known as the Knight's Gear, which was primarily used by the Knights of Hyrule.[4]
