The Advance Shop,[1][2] also known as the 100 Rupee Advance Shop,[3] is a recurring location in The Legend of Zelda series. It is a unique store as it can only be accessed when the respective game is played on a Game Boy Advance.[4]
Features and Overview
The shop is adjacent to the Lynna Village Shooting Gallery in Oracle of Ages,[2] and adjacent to the Know-It-All Birds' Hut in Oracle of Seasons.[1] It is not available in the Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console or Nintendo Switch Online versions of either game, as they use the Game Boy Color emulator for the games.
The Advance Shop is run by Stockwell, who is amazed that Link managed to find the store.[5] Every item sold in the Advance Shop costs 100 Rupees.[6] The shop's merchandise consists of a Gasha Seed and two Magic Rings. The first of the two, an Advance Ring, will become the GBA Nature Ring in Oracle of Seasons, or the GBA Time Ring in Oracle of Ages once appraised. If Link buys every item, Stockwell will have nothing more to sell.[7]
