==Features and Overview==
==={{TP|-}}===
Prior to the events in {{TP|-}}, the {{Term|TPHD|Hidden Village}} served as the secret home to the {{Term|TPHD|Sheikah|link}} tribe; however, due to the prolonged wars, the tribe dwindled and the town fell into decline, becoming infested with {{Plural|TPHD|Bulblin|link}} and leaving only one resident, {{Term|TPHD|Impaz|link}}.<ref name=statue>{{Cite|That belonged to the tribe that protected the Hylian royal family long ago. They worked in secret, so they lived in a lonely, forgotten place. But I heard that tribe dwindled in the prolonged wars...|Gor Coron|TP}}</ref><ref>{{Cite|My name is Impaz. I'm the last resident of this poor village.|Impaz|TP}}</ref><ref>{{Cite|This village was once the secret home of a proud tribe who served the royal family...But it fell into decline, and became infested with dangerous beasts. It's become an awful place...|Impaz|TP}}</ref>

Early in {{Term|TPHD|Link|link}}'s quest, entry into the {{Term|TPHD|Hidden Village}} is blocked off due to a rockslide that happened long ago.<ref>{{Cite|But...a rockslide blocked the way to the village long ago, so you can't get there anymore.|Gor Coron|TP}}</ref> After {{Term|TPHD|Link}} shows the {{Term|TPHD|Wooden Statue|link}} to {{Term|TPHD|Ilia|link}} while {{Term|TPHD|Retrieval of Ilia's Memory|link|display= Retrieving her Memory}}, she remembers that someone saved her from monsters and is still in danger. {{Term|TPHD|Gor Coron|link}} recalls where he has seen the {{Term|TPHD|Wooden Statue}} before, which leads {{Term|TPHD|Link}} to the {{Term|TPHD|Hidden Village}}.<ref name=statue/> {{Term|TPHD|Link}} goes there to rescue the one who helped {{Term|TPHD|Ilia}} with the aid of {{Term|TPHD|Darbus|link}}, who breaks through the rocks to clear {{Term|TPHD|Link}}'s path ahead. When {{Term|TPHD|Link}} first visits the town, it is infested by many {{Plural|TPHD|Bulblin}}, all of which he must slay in order to rescue {{Term|TPHD|Ilia}}'s helper.<ref>{{Cite|There are 30... No... At most, 20 of them ahead...They are probably just a small band of survivors...Ragged remnants who have settled, leaderless, into this village. If that is all there are, little human, then you alone are more than enough for them. But you will have to defeat them ALL to save that girl's benefactor.|Darbus|TP}}</ref> The only other resident of the village, {{Term|TPHD|Impaz}}, comes out of her home after {{Term|TPHD|Link}} slays every single one of the beasts. Thanking the young hero for his help in defeating the {{Plural|TPHD|Bulblin}}, she gives {{Term|TPHD|Link}} {{Term|TPHD|Horse Call|link|display= Ilia's Charm}}, an item {{Term|TPHD|Ilia}} gave to {{Term|TPHD|Impaz}} before escaping the {{Term|TPHD|Hidden Village}}.<ref>{{Cite|Oh, but listen to me blather on! I have a favor to ask: would you help me return this to her? I think she always kept it close to her heart, but even so, she didn't hesitate to part with it in order to protect me... I believe in my heart that it's kept me safe all this time...|Impaz|TP}}</ref>

Shortly after {{Term|TPHD|Ilia}} recovers her memory with the aid of the {{Term|TPHD|Horse Call||display= Ilia's Charm}}, later revealed to be the {{Term|TPHD|Horse Call}} made for {{Term|TPHD|Link}}, {{Term|TPHD|Link}} returns to the {{Term|TPHD|Hidden Village}} and shows the {{Term|TPHD|Dominion Rod|link}} to {{Term|TPHD|Impaz}}. {{Term|TPHD|Impaz}} recognizes the {{Term|TPHD|Dominion Rod}} upon seeing it and gives {{Term|TPHD|Link}} the {{Term|TPHD|Ancient Sky Book|link}}, which is only to be carried by the messenger to the heavens.<ref>{{Cite|From generation to generation, my ancestors have guarded the book that, by royal decree, was to be given to the messenger to the heavens. This is that book. Please, take it. This book is written in the ancient language of Sky Writing.|Impaz|TP}}</ref> It is with the help of this book that {{Term|TPHD|Link}} eventually reaches the {{Term|TPHD|City in the Sky|link}}.

Most of the buildings in the {{Term|TPHD|Hidden Village}} were abandoned and ruined by the {{Plural|TPHD|Bulblin}}, and as such, only {{Term|TPHD|Impaz}}'s house is still fit for residence. {{Term|TPHD|Impaz}}'s house is also home to several {{Plural|TPHD|Cat|link}} that she takes care of. In the backyard of one of the abandoned buildings, {{Term|TPHD|Link}} can find a {{Term|TPHD|Howling Stone|link}} as well as a {{Term|TPHD|Cucco|link}} who asks {{Term|TPHD|Wolf Link|link}}, to play {{Term|TPHD|Cat Hunt|link}} with the {{Plural|TPHD|Cat}} in exchange for a {{Term|TPHD|Piece of Heart|link}}. The various stray felines wandering the {{Term|TPHD|Hidden Village}} will play the mini-game with {{Term|TPHD|Wolf Link}} where he has to talk to each individual {{Term|TPHD|Cat}} at least once.

==Trivia==
*The {{Term|TPHD|Hidden Village}} in {{TP|-}} shares a connection with {{Term|TAoL|Old Kasuto|link}} from {{TAoL}}, which is also a ghost town with a {{Term|TAoL|Old Man|link|display= Single Resident}}.
*Throughout the {{Term|TPHD|Hidden Village}} in {{TP|-}}, several posters can be found that say the word "Wanted" written in the {{Term|TPHD|Hylian Language|link}}. The posters have a drawing of an unknown man with a mustache and goatee, along with an apparent reward of 1,000,000,000,000,000 (One Quadrillion) {{Plural|TPHD|Rupee|link}}.
*The {{Term|TPHD|Hidden Village}} in {{TP|-}} also resembles a classic ghost town from {{Wp|Western (genre)|Western films}}. Its theme music resembles the score by {{Wp|Ennio Morricone}} for the classic Western films ''{{Wp|A Fistful of Dollars}}'', ''{{Wp|For a Few Dollars More}}'', and ''{{Wp|The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly}}''.
*A sign at the entrance to the {{Term|TPHD|Hidden Village}} in {{TP|-}} reads "Welcome to Old Kakarico" in the {{Term|TPHD|Hylian Language}}.
