Vatorsa Snowfield is a recurring location in The Legend of Zelda series.[1][2]
Features and Overview
Breath of the Wild
Vatorsa Snowfield is a flat expanse covered by Snow in the Gerudo Highlands. It is bordered to the west by the West Vatorsa Snowfield, the two being separated by a natural stone archway. In the center of the Snowfield is a deep valley. On the eastern end of Vatorsa Snowfield, sitting at the base of Laparoh Mesa is Kuh Takkar Shrine. As part of a Freezing Climate, Link must have at least two levels of Cold Resistance to traverse the Snowfield without taking damage.
At 7:00 PM, Farosh will fly over Vatorsa Snowfield from Gerudo Summit, causing an Updraft to appear underneath it. Three Monster Strongholds can also be found on the Snowfield. The westernmost Stronghold is multi-tiered structure made out of wood, and its two Treasure Chests contain a Silver Rupee and a bundle of five Bomb Arrows. The second is a small encampment on the slope leading into the valley, and it contains a Treasure Chest containing a Purple Rupee. The last Monster Stronghold is located at the end of the valley, and the Treasure Chest inside contains a Ruby.
Several Treasure Chests can be found in the Vatorsa Snowfield. In total, these Chests contain one Forest Dweller's Spear, one Golden Claymore, 10 Shock Arrows, one Amber, three Opals, one Ruby, and three Purple Rupees.
