Laser Eyes are enemies in A Link to the Past.[1]

Characteristics

A Link to the Past

Laser Eyes remain static, but when Link passes in front of them, they will start pelting him with laser beams. These beams are rapid, but can be blocked by using the Mirror Shield. Their precise behavior varies, with some partially closed eyes only opening and firing upon Link if he faces their direction, otherwise remaining shut. These particular Laser Eyes will often sit above doorways which will also vanish when the eye opens, meaning that Link can only leave these rooms by moving backwards through the door by charging a Spin Attack. As Link holds his Shield to his side, it is possible to avoid a Laser Eye's beam while charging a Spin Attack.

Other Appearances

Ancient Stone Tablets
