Mama Turtle is a character in A Link Between Worlds.[1] She is the mother of the baby Turtles.
Biography
Mama Turtle inhabits Lorule Lake. When Link first encounters her, she pleads for the young hero to find her baby Turtles.[2] The baby Turtles are scattered throughout the lake and require Link's help to return to their mother. The largest baby Turtle, Tallo, is found at the northern section of the lake, clinging to a wall. To rescue him, Link must Wall Merge and reemerge from between the baby Turtle and the wall.[3] After Link rescues a baby Turtle, the Mama Turtle will remind the young hero that there are still more missing.[4]
