Splatfests are periodically occurring events in the Splatoon series, where players choose a team and compete against the opposite teams in Turf Wars to raise a teams' scores in order to determine a winner by the highest score after its conclusion. This Splatfest was a celebration for the then upcoming release of Tears of the Kingdom. The theme for this Splatfest was "Which do you seek?", giving the player the option to choose between the 3 virtues of the Triforce, namely Power, Wisdom and Courage.
