Red Goriyas are enemies in The Legend of Zelda series.[1]

Characteristics

The Legend of Zelda

The Adventure of Link

A Link to the Past

Red Goriyas first appear in the Palace of Darkness and reappear in later Dark World dungeons such as Ganon's Tower in A Link to the Past. They copy Link's movement pattern, similar to Arm-Mimics and Shy Guys, moving in the opposite direction of Link. They spit deadly fireballs whenever facing Link, and similar to Red Eyegores, they can only be killed with Arrows.

In the original Super Nintendo Entertainment System version of the game, Red Goriyas make a single appearance in the Light World in a cave on Death Mountain. In the Game Boy Advance version, they were replaced with Eyegores in the Light World, and only appear in the Dark World.

A Link Between Worlds

Other Appearances

A Link to the Past (Barcode Battler II)

Cadence of Hyrule

Red Goriyas appear as common enemies found in caves, the overworld and dungeons. They throw their boomerangs at Skull Kid similar to Legend of Zelda and Zelda II in a straight line.
