For the enemy with the Japanese name "Parasitic Tentacle", see Dexivine.
Parasitic Tentacles are limbs of Barinade that attach inside Jabu-Jabu's body in Ocarina of Time.[1]
Characteristics
Parasitic Tentacles dangle from protrusions Inside Jabu-Jabu's Belly. They often obstruct Link's path and must be destroyed in order for the young hero to progress. In order to defeat the Parasitic Tentacles, Link must strike them with the Boomerang repeatedly until they are severed. If Link approaches them too quickly, they will swing around in an attempt to knock him back. On most occasions, a Treasure Chest will appear once they are defeated.
