Hanch
Hanch is a character in Twilight Princess.[2]
Biography
Hanch is Beth's father and Sera's husband, who reside in Ordon Village. At the start of the game, he stands staring up at the tree above Fado's house, which is infested with Bees.[3] He tries to knock down the hive and extract Bee Larva to please his wife who has been upset ever since their cat disappeared.[4] If Link stays around Hanch for a few seconds after speaking to him, he will throw a rock at the hive, causing bees to swarm and chase him into the water. Link can help him out knocking down the hive by climbing some vines or with either the Slingshot or a hawk.[5]
After his daughter is kidnapped by King Bulblin's troupe, he sends a hawk after Wolf Link whenever he comes close, believing Wolf Link to be his daughter's kidnapper.[6] To obtain the Ordon Shield, Wolf Link must get up on the roof of Sera's Sundries and scare Hanch into jumping into the water once again.
